Evolution lifters utilize COMP’s patented Hydraulic Cartridge Technology (HCT), a revolutionary design that offers the most reliable performance, quieter operation, and longevity of any tappet in the aftermarket. Through years of research, development, and prototyping, engineers developed a combination of a self-contained, removable hydraulic cartridge within a thick-wall tappet body, resulting in reduced oil volume that is less affected by aeriation, thereby delivering the most consistent bleed rates on the market. This precision-controlled bleed-down ensures excellent performance at high RPM. With less oil volume needed to fill the internal chambers of the cartridge, engine operation is noticeably quieter.
